Welcome to Menopause 2.0, the collective wisdom of women mid-life and beyond; an aggregate and gateway for information exchange among women along with key healthcare stakeholders.
Coordinated and endorsed by Menopause Alliance, a multidisciplinary, multichannel, non-profit organization, Menopause 2.0 goes beyond Health 2.0 and social networks for information exchange. It gives women a seat at the table by disrupting the traditional model where consumers are on the sidelines as policy makers and providers drive change.
A cornerstone to this effort is the Pearls of Wisdom program, where women act as paid advisors in revolutionizing the way key stakeholders develop and advance healthcare. Often, consumers are marginal contributors to this process. Yet women, especially boomer age women, are not only primary healthcare decision makers, but by sheer volume, their numbers position them to become significant consumers of these services. No more business as usual! Let’s take our place at the table and be active participants in the creation of a modern healthcare system that addresses the full breadth of needs of women midlife and beyond.
Eager and ready for change? Pearls of Wisdom provides women an opportunity to participate as influential contributors to the global dialogue on re-engineering health systems. Enroll now. BE HEARD!
